Changes Effective 7/1/2021 and 7/1/2023

Effective 7/1/2021, and 7/1/2023 for UW Police Officers covered under the Teamsters 117 Collective Bargaining Agreement, sick leave buy-back is no longer required.

Therefore, reimbursement for sick leave payments for workers compensated with wage replacement benefits, Time Loss and/or Loss of Earning Power benefits, is not available for recovery as related to workers’ compensation claims.
